FAQS

IS ADDING MORE GATHERING TIMES AN ALTERNATIVE TO BUILDING MORE SPACE?

We are currently at our max of four gathering times on Sunday. We have lots of experience with various gathering times over the years. Adding gathering times has proven to be a useful short term solution to growth, but cannot solve the growth that happens at the most desirable mid-morning gathering times.

WHEN DO WE HOPE TO BREAK GROUND ON THE KIDS BUILDING?

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic we do not have a specific date to break ground on the new kid’s building. We will continue to seek God’s timing, and see where we are at with Covid and with our overall church finances in January.

WHAT IF WE RAISE MORE OR LESS THAN OUR GOAL?

If God provides more than the goal, we would not need additional financing for the Phase 2 project. If we fall short of our fundraising goal, we will prioritize the Kids Building and delay the retrofitting for the secondary Worship Venue and Staff Offices until funds become available.

IS MY 3 YEAR CARE COMMITMENT IN ADDITION TO REGULAR GIVING TO THE BRIDGE BIBLE CHURCH?

Yes. Your regular tithe and offerings support the vision and general operations of The Bridge. Your Care Commitment and fulfillment goes directly to the Care Campus Campaign projects and construction costs.

I HAVE QUESTIONS ON THE FINANCIAL ASPECTS OF THE PHASE 2 PROJECT:

Yes, we understand this can be a lot of information. Please reach out to icare@thebridgebiblechurch.com and we’d love to personally connect with you regarding the financials of Phase 2.

SO HOW CAN I BE INVOLVED?

We are asking everyone to be involved in three ways:

  • Participate in the meetings, conversations and excitement throughout the campaign.
  • Prayerfully consider what level of Radical Generosity God is calling you to contribute to this campaign.
  • Pray that God will fulfill HIS vision for The Bridge as we take the next step in seeing our neighborhoods full of families centered on Jesus and actively living out the Gospel together.

Are we still planning on accomplishing the Care Campus Campaign?

Yes! While the circumstances today look a lot different due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we continue to look at the years ahead and believe God will reach families because He Cares. We will prayerfully wait for God’s direction on timing as we move forward.

What are we doing with the money that has been given so far?

All donations to the Care Campus Campaign have been restricted for that purpose. We are saving that  money in our RELOC account, and our MB foundation savings account. All donations given to date, and those continuing to be received are helping to reduce the size of the future loan and thus, in essence, lowering the overall cost of the project.

Can I still make a financial commitment to the CARE Campus Campaign?

We’d love you to join what God is doing after you prayerfully consider your commitment. You can give here online, stop by our welcome table on a Sunday morning, or call the church office at 661-587-2010 (ask for Mindy). We’d love to partner with you.

Financially, where are we?

Praise God, the initial commitments totaled $7,235,352 to be given between Sept. 2019 to Sept. 2022. We currently have received $2,578,499 (through July 2020) and it has been set aside for when we decide to move forward and break ground. Thank you for your commitment and continued giving!
